MICROFIBRE CLOTH GUIDE

Microfibre cloths are one of the most important accessories when detailing your vehicle. Wether it's the Interior, Exterior or Glass, a Pro-Grade Microfibre cloth will leave your vehicle looking pristine inside and out.

Our Pro-Grade Microfibre cloths are extremely versatile in wet and dry conditions and if taken care of, they can last for a very long time.

So Why Are Microfibre Cloths So Effective?

A microfibre is an extremely tiny synthetic fibre and is a blend of two materials, polyester and polyamide. They are extremely effective in attracting dirt and absorbing liquid at the same time. Microfibres have a star shaped structure on each strand, which is perfect for cleaning and attracting dirt and since they are ultra soft and non-abrasive, they are ideal when using our Waterless Wash & Wax

Our Pro-Grade cloths are 340 GSM (Grams Per Square Meter) which is the perfect density for buffing and polishing.

Taking Care Of Your Microfibre Cloth

Our Microfibre cloths can be machine washed at 30º. We recommend removing any grime first by simply soaking on warm soapy water prior to machine washing them. You can also wash the microfiber cloth with regular detergent but add a 1/2 cup of white vinegar. The white vinegar will remove the wax, while the detergent will get rid of the vinegar smell.

We highly recommend avoid using a fabric softener when machine washing. A fabric softener coats the fibers of the towel with a substance to soften them which will result in them losing their static charge.

Once the cloth has been cleaned, we recommend hanging it out to dry and avoid machine drying as the heat can damage the fibres, causing the polyester to melt. This would reduce the effectiveness of the cloth when cleaning your vehicle.
