Lamborghini have introduced their newest addition to the already iconic lineup with the Aventador Roadster S. The Aventador S made its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt show and goes on sale before the end of the year, before hitting the roads early in 2018.
Despite the loss of the roof on the Aventador S, Lamborghini promises that the extra 110 pounds on the Roadster won't reduce the aerodynamics or performance. Hitting 0-60 in 3.0 seconds and reaching maximum speeds of 215 miles per hour, the V12 engine cranks out 740bhp and more than 500 pound of torque.
The four-wheel drive and new steering system means an improved stability at high speed and better agility at low speed for the Aventador S. The noticeable difference on the Roadster compared to the Coupe is the new carbonfibre engine cover available with transparent sections as option, to better show off that V12 engine!

Inside the Aventador S you will find plenty of Alcantara and leather, gloss carbon fibre and 6kg roof panels that store under the bonnet. It sits on massive 20s in the front and 21s at the rear. Apple CarPlay comes as standard which is accompanied by a TFT digital dashboard. Lamborghini have also revised the front bumper to a much more 'aggressive' and practically identical to the Coupe S.
The new Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster is set to start from £251,462 minus tax, so you’re looking at more like £302k. Quite a bit more than the Coupe S.
